The Trans Siberian Railway

The Trans Siberian Railway is one of my favorite travel experiences, and this time I want to take the train all the way from Norway to China. If you want a different itinerary, feel free to contact me and I can tailormake a trip just for you. Otherwise the plan is as follows:

 

DAY 1 Departure from Oslo

Planned activities: We will take the train early morning at 5.56, arriving Stockholm at 11.04 the same day before boarding the ferry to Turku in the evening.

Accommodation: Overnight in ferry, departing at 8pm, arriving Turku the next day at 7.35am.

 

DAY 2 Turku to Helsinki

Planned activities: We will travel by train to Helsinki where we will have a break to relax or explore the Finnish capital.

Accommodation: Clean and friendly hostel, located in the city center

 

DAY 3 Helsinki to St.Petersburg

Planned activities: We will take a train in the morning to St. Petersburg, also called the Venice of the east.

Accommodation:Clean and friendly hostel, located in the city center

 

DAY 4 St.Petersburg

Planned activities: Check out museums, parks, restaurants and more in this amazing city.

Accommodation:Clean and friendly hostel, located in the city center.

 

DAY 5 St.Petersburg to Moscow

Planned activities: Check out museums, parks, restaurants and more in this amazing city.

Accommodation: Godzillas Hostel, located in the city center

 

DAY 6 Moscow and the Trans Siberian Railway

Planned activities: All aboard the trans siberian railway, which will have the following itinerary

Accommodation: The next five nights will be spent in a 4 berth compartment on the train to Irkutsk.
